The Wabash College golf team earned Presidents Special Recognition as part of the 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Awards announced Wednesday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Wabash was one of 28 NCAA Division III programs to receive Presidents Special Recognition after producing an average team grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year.

A total of 62 NCAA Division III programs received PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Awards. In addition to the 28 teams earning Presidents Special Recognition, 34 Division III programs received All-Academic Team honors by recording a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The GCAA recognized a record 331 schools across six collegiate divisions with PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Awards. A total of 155 programs received Presidents Special Recognition.

The GCAA, established in 1958, is the professional organization for men's collegiate golf coaches. The organization supports coaches from the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA while recognizing the academic, athletic, and civic achievements of its members and student-athletes.
