GRANVILLE, Ohio — Wabash College finished third in the 14-team Ted Barclay Golf Invitational after completing the final round Sunday at Denison Golf Club.

Finn Carteaux produced Wabash's top individual finish while competing as an individual, tying for seventh place with a two-round total of 142 after rounds of 70 and 72. Mason Pierle led the Little Giants' team-scoring lineup with a 143 to tie for ninth place after firing a final-round 70. Charlie Seaburg finished 15th at 145 after rounds of 69 and 76, while Leo Dellinger tied for 19th at 147 with rounds of 73 and 74.

Wabash entered Sunday's final round in second place after shooting a 287 on Saturday and finished with a two-round total of 586 following a final-round 299. John Carroll won the tournament with a 566 after rounds of 277 and 289. Wittenberg moved past the Little Giants into second place with a final-round 287 to finish at 575. Denison and Hocking tied for fourth at 590.

Tyler Morton completed Wabash's four-player scoring total Sunday with a 79. Morton finished tied for 36th place at 151 after opening with a 72. Jackson Mahan rounded out the Wabash lineup with rounds of 82 and 80 for a 162 total.

John Carroll's Wade Boyle earned medalist honors with a 137 after rounds of 68 and 69. Otterbein's Clay Bruning finished one stroke back in second place at 138 after shooting a tournament-low 67 in Sunday's final round. Daniel Donahue of John Carroll and Hocking's Tanner Wood tied for third at 140.

Hudson Messer also competed as an individual for Wabash and finished with a 163 total after rounds of 80 and 83.
