Greencastle Construction Information

Traveling to Campus
If you are traveling on 231 north from I-70, you will not hit the construction. Continue through detour signs on 231 until you approach campus. Turn left (west) at Hanna St (Pizza King). Continue to and through campus. Blackstock parking lot is approximately ¾ miles on your left after crossing Jackson St. and entering the Athletics Campus.

If you are traveling on 231 south from Crawfordsville, turn right (west) at Frazier Street. Go to Madison Street (1 block) and turn left (south). Continue until Madison Street will dead end at Hanna Street. To enter the Blackstock parking lot, make a left (east) and a quick right (south) into the lot. To drop off in the Hanna St. circle, make a right (west) on Hanna St. Allow extra time if traveling in any oversized vehicle (i.e. charter bus, RV, truck and trailer etc).

If you are traveling on 40 west from Plainfield, you will not hit the construction. Continue through detour signs as you approach Greencastle. Turn right (north) at 231 and continue through detour signs on 40. Continue approximately 7 miles and turn left (west) at Hanna St (Pizza King). Continue to and through campus. Blackstock parking lot is approximately ¾ miles on your left after crossing Jackson St. and entering the Athletics Campus.

If you are traveling on 240 west from Plainfield, you will not hit the construction. Continue through detour signs as you approach Greencastle. From 240 W, turn left (south) at Veterans Parkway (1st stop light beyond Walmart). Turn right (north) on Bloomington St. Turn left (west) on Hanna. St (Pizza King). Continue to and through campus. Blackstock parking lot is approximately ¾ miles on your left after crossing Jackson St. and entering the Athletics Campus.

Traveling in Town
We highly recommend you plot your route BEFORE leaving the Blackstock parking lot. 231/N Jackson St is closed from Elizabeth St to Franklin Street., impacting travel north of campus. During this time, the main north-south road to use is Madison St. The main east-west street is Washington St. There may be intermittent closures on Washington St. If Washington is not an option, you can use Seminary to go east-west.
