Weeks returned to the Wabash dugout after serving two seasons as pitching coach and assistant recruiting coordinator at Case Western Reserve University. He helped the Spartans to reach as high as number 15 in the national rankings and to earn the first no-hitter in University Athletic Association history.

Weeks served as pitching coach, head junior varsity baseball coach, and recruiting coordinator at John Carroll University from 2012-2014. During his time with the Blue Streaks, the team tied the school record for wins with 26 in 2013. He coached two All-Americans, four All-Mideast Regional, nine All-OAC, and six OAC Players of the Week.

To this point in his career, nine players coached by Weeks haver signed professional contracts.

Weeks also played professional baseball from 2010-2012. He was a member of the Schaumburg Boomers, the Lake Erie Crushers, and the Gary Southshore Railcats. He appeared in 27 total games with 22 starts.
