Pittard joins the Wabash coaching staff after an outstanding career at DePauw University. Pittard played in 125 games for the Tigers, batting .334 with a .417 on-base percentage. His squad finished 33-13 his senior season with its second appearance in four season in the NCAA Division III Tournament. Pittard was part of the Tiger's North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament championship team that also advanced to the NCAA tourney.
Pittard earned spots on the 2017 and 2015 All-NCAC teams. He Hoosier Crossroads Conference All-Academic honors as a member of the Lafayette Jefferson High School athletics program and received the Booster Club Top 50 Academic Athlete Award. Pittard was also a recipient of the Marian Howell "Heart of the Broncho" Award, earned three varsity letters as a baseball player, and was a two-time Captain's Award of Leadership recipient.
