Zach Zaborowski

Zach Zaborowski

Zach Zaborowski joined the Wabash College baseball program as an assistant coach on January 5, 2026.

Zaborowski brings extensive playing and coaching experience to the Little Giants after a decorated collegiate and professional pitching career. A four-year starter at Indiana Tech (NAIA), he established himself as one of the program’s most accomplished pitchers. He ranks first in career strikeouts (274), fourth in career innings pitched (233), fourth in games started (37), and fifth in career wins (17). He recorded 103 strikeouts during the 2024 season, the third-most in the team’s single-season history. Zaborowski earned multiple accolades during his career, including Woverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week honors three times, Prospect League Saves Leader recognition in 2023, and Prospect League All-Star honors in 2023.

Following his collegiate career, Zaborowski continued competing at the professional and independent levels. He pitched in the USPBL with the Westside Woolly Mammoths in 2024, earning All-Star honors. He later joined the Pioneer League’s Grand Junction Jackalopes in 2025, where he was named League Pitcher of the Week. Across his professional experience, he logged more than 100 innings pitched with over 120 strikeouts as both a starter and reliever.

Zaborowski also brings a strong coaching background with an emphasis on pitching development. He served as an assistant coach in the ICBL College Summer League in 2022 and worked as a pitching instructor at Coach McKinstry’s Warehouse beginning in 2023. In 2024, he was the pitching coach at Indiana Tech, helping guide the Warriors to a WHAC Tournament championship and an NAIA national tournament appearance. That season, two pitchers earned all-conference honors, and the staff improved its team ERA by one full run from the previous year.

A native of Westfield, Indiana, Zaborowski graduated from Indiana Tech in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, a certificate in legal studies, and a 3.4 GPA. At Wabash, he assists with pitching development, practice planning, player evaluation, and analytics.
