Biography

2013: Earned Wabash Rookie of Year honors after pitching in 10 games with seven starts and posting a 3-3 record... Recorded his first win against Oglethorpe in his first start, pitching five inning and striking out six batters... Finished the season with 21 strikeouts over 31 innings.

High School: Lettered in baseball (4) for Warren Central High School... Graduated third in his class.

Personal: Parents are Vernon and Tammy Piercey... Psychology major...Top-10 Scholarship recipient... His great-great uncle was Johnny Cash and is related to President William McKinley on his mother's side of the family... Plans to attend law school after graduating from Wabash.
