Coach Taylor Marshall is in his first season as an assistant track and field and cross country coach at Wabash College. Coach Marshall spent his first 11 years coaching at the high school level. During that time, he guided the North Central High School boys track and field team to an Indiana High School Athletic Association state championship in 2019 and a runner-up finish in 2018. Coach Marshall also coached the Carmel High School girls cross country team to a state runner-up finish in 2021.
 
During his high school coaching career, Coach Marshall coached 19 all-state performers in track and field and cross country, 8 Indiana All-Stars, two school records, a state championship 4x800m relay team (2018), multiple state runner-up relay teams, and 22 student-athletes who went on to compete at the NCAA or NAIA level. He also coached multiple teams to top-ten finishes at the IHSAA State Cross Country Championships.
 
Coach Marshall was named the 2019 Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches Men’s Track & Field Coach of the Year and was nominated twice for Men’s Track & Field and Women’s Cross Country, respectively. He coaches adults in the 5K, half marathon, and marathon events. Coach Marshall is also the co-host of the Indiana Runner Podcast, which highlights Indiana high school track and field and cross country. He is currently a high school social studies teacher.
