Reaves joined the Wabash College football coaching staff in July 2025, bringing experience as both a player as a defensive back at Elmhurst University and as a rising coach.
During his time at Elmhurst, Reaves was a team captain and outstanding safety, earning Second Team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Â honors in 2024. That year, he played in eight games, making 47 tackles, including three for loss, snatching two interceptions, recovering a fumble, and earning CCIW Player of the Week accolades. Throughout his college tenure, he amassed 86 tackles, four interceptions, and defended 12 passes.
At Brighton High School in Michigan, Reaves excelled as a two-sport athlete in football and lacrosse, earning four scholar-athlete awards. Named the "Most Improved Player" in football, he led as a varsity captain during the COVID-impacted 2020-21 season and helped the team reach the Division I state runner-up position.
Beyond the field, Reaves began building his coaching resume in 2024, working as an assistant coach at the Team Faulk Youth Development Football Camp led by Pittsburgh Steelers coach Eddie Faulkner. Here, he took part in practice planning and led drills for more than 250 aspiring players. Additionally, Reaves sharpened his management skills through a summer internship at Cleary University, gaining experience in travel planning, marketing, and athletics event management.
Originally from Brighton, Michigan, Reaves earned a degree in sport management from Elmhurst University in 2025.
