Osnowitz joined the Wabash football program as running backs coach in August 2019. He came to the Little Giants' program from The University of West Alabama where he spent one season as a defensive graduate assistant assisting with the defensive line. The Tigers ended the season with an 8-4 record and an NCAA Division II playoff appearance. Osnowitz spent the 2017 season at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M coaching linebackers. The Golden Norsemen finished 9-3, won the Southwest Junior College Football Conference, and played in the Midwest Classic bowl game.

The son of a football coach, Osnowitz started his coaching career at Samford University as a defensive quality control/student assistant, helping the Bulldogs to the NCAA Football Championship Series playoffs. He served as a defensive intern at Georgia State University in the spring of 2017 before taking the position at NEO A&M.

A 2017 graduate of Faulkner University, Osnowitz earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He played two seasons of football at Faulkner on the Eagles' 2014 West Division champions of the Mid-South Conference. He also spent two seasons at Jacksonville State University as a member of the Gamecocks' 2011 Ohio Valley Conference championship team.
