Graduated from Westfield High School, where he played for the Shamrocks and earned three varsity letters each in football and lacrosse... Achieved Football All-State honors in high school and was recognized as Academic All-State... Has consistently excelled academically at Wabash, earning a spot on the Dean's List four times and receiving Academic All-District honors... Actively involved in campus life, serving as President of Sigma Chi, Secretary of the Newman Catholic Club, and participating in the Sphinx Club and Wabash CIBE... His father, Jake Gilbert, is a Wabash alumnus from the class of 1998
