Personal: Konner Chase, a junior residing in Martindale, is pursuing a major in Financial Economics with aspirations to work in the entertainment industry... At Wabash, Konner has earned several scholarships including the President's Scholarship, Earn More Scholarship, and Honors Scholarship, and has been recognized on the Dean's List three times... Actively involved on campus, he serves as President of the Film Club, Lead Innovation Consultant for CIBE, Treasurer for the Student Events Committee, and is a member of the Investment Society and Wabash Christian Men... Graduated from Springs Valley High School, home of the Blackhawks, where he excelled in multiple sports, earning four varsity letters in baseball, three in both basketball and football, and one in track and field... In football, he was named to the Colts Academic Team, Salutatorian Academic All State, All-State, All-Region, All-Conference, and served as Team Captain... Twice a Team Captain in basketball, he received Academic All State Honorable Mention and All-Conference honors... In baseball, he was celebrated as MVP, received the Golden Glove, Best Teammate Award, and was a two-time All-Conference selection, also earning Academic All State recognition... Set the school record in the 4x1 relay and contributed to the first-ever sectional championship in track... Academically, he was a member of the National Honor Society, Salutatorian, Class President, and graduated in the top 10% of his class... Enjoys watching movies, playing video games, and golfing in his free time... Comes from a family with strong ties to Wabash, including his uncle Kip Chase, brother Kannon Chase, and cousins Kenton Chase, Jack Chase, and Blake Buchanan.
