Personal: Nick Davenport, a junior and member of Delta Tau Delta, hails from Whiting High School, home of the Oilers... Pursuing a major in biology, he aims to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and work with athletes... He has been recognized on the Dean's List for both the fall and spring semesters of his sophomore year and is a recipient of the President's Scholarship... Actively engaged on campus, he is a brother of the Malcolm X Institute of Black Studies, a Hermano of La Alianza, and participates in the Bowling and Film clubs... During his high school years, Nick excelled in football, basketball, and baseball, earning four varsity letters in football, three in basketball, and two in baseball... His athletic achievements include being named to the Senior Year All-Conference 1st Team, IFCA Academic All-State, Team MVP, and Team Captain, along with being a Junior Year All-Conference Honorable Mention and Offensive MVP... Academically, he was inducted into the National Honor Society during his senior year... Nick's connection to Wabash is further strengthened by relatives who are alumni, including Greg Zorich ('85) and Adam Zorich ('21).
