Personal: Owen Miller is a senior who resides in Sigma Chi... A graduate of Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Cooperative High School, home of the Blue Devils... Majoring in religion, Owen has been awarded the Presidential Scholarship and is a Snodell Scholar... After Wabash, he plans to attend the University of Illinois School of Architecture... Active in campus life, he served as president and treasurer of the College Republicans and as treasurer of the Cigar and Pipe Club... In high school, he was a standout athlete, earning varsity letters in football, baseball, basketball, and golf... Honored as the Blue Devils' Defensive Player of the Year, Owen also received First Team All-County and All-Vermillion Valley Conference Defensive End honors, was selected to the First Team Illinois Academic All-State Team, and served as team captain... Academically, he was a member of the National Honor Society, student council, graduated magna cum laude, and was vice president of his class... In his community, he was recognized with the Juby and Eggie Parke award... Outside of sports, Owen is active in his church, enjoys fishing, and plays slow pitch softball... He follows in the footsteps of friends and relatives Chad Finley and Curt Miller Jr, who also attended Wabash.
