Personal: Rudy Schoettle, a proud sophomore at Wabash, is actively involved in the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity... Originally from Roncalli High School, home of the Rebels... Pursuing a major in Economics, he has been recognized on the Dean's List and awarded both the Presidential and Early Decision Scholarships... Engages in a variety of campus activities, including the Investment Society, Neuman Catholic Club, and Wabash Film Club... Aspires to build a career as a teacher/coach or in sales... In high school, Rudy excelled in athletics, serving as team captain for both the baseball and football teams... Contributed to his baseball team's successes as a two-time Conference Champion and a Marion County Champion, while holding the stolen base record for a season... On the football field, he earned All-Conference honors, an All Marion County Honorable Mention, and was named Team MVP... Academically distinguished in high school with honors like the National Honor Society and Physics Student of the Year... Demonstrated a commitment to service with over 250 hours and participation in "R" Block and the "Right to Life" Club... Has a family connection to Wabash through Kellen Schreiber '22, a member of the basketball team.
