Personal: Tanner Brooks, a senior residing in Williams Hall, is majoring in Rhetoric with aspirations to work in law enforcement... Hailing from Madison Grant Junior-Senior High School, home of the Argylls, Tanner was a standout athlete earning varsity letters in baseball, football, track and field, and wrestling... He was recognized as an All-Conference running back in his junior and senior years, served as a team captain, and qualified for state in the 200-meter dash, also as a team captain... Tanner holds several high school records including most rushing yards in a game (385 yards), most touchdowns in a game (6 touchdowns), most rushing yards in a season (2,230 yards), most touchdowns in a season (34 touchdowns), most points in a season (202), and school records in the 100-meter dash (10.77 seconds) and 200-meter dash (21.97 seconds)... He received the Mental Attitude Award for his contributions to the community... Outside of sports, Tanner enjoys fishing, shooting guns, and working out.
