Greenamoyer's coaching career is built on a decorated playing resume. He spent four seasons at Hanover College from 2020 to 2024, where he was a four-year starter, starting in 92 of 94 games and scoring 1,157 career points. During his time with the Panthers, he set the single-season school record for three-pointers made during the 2022–2023 season and earned All-Conference honors three times. He completed his collegiate playing career as a graduate student at Trine University in Angola, Indiana, during the 2024–2025 season, contributing to a 21–5 record on a team that was ranked in the NCAA Division III Top 25 nationally throughout the season.

A native of Zionsville, Indiana, Greenamoyer earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business from Hanover College in May 2024 before completing his Master of Business Administration at Trine University in May 2025.Â
