Tim MCCrory

Tim McCrory joined the Wabash College men’s basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach in 2025.

McCrory came to Wabash after six seasons as head men’s basketball coach at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. He guided the Pioneers to 63 victories and their first conference tournament championship in 20 years while coaching multiple all-conference and all-region student-athletes.

Prior to Lewis & Clark, McCrory spent seven years at Oberlin College, serving as associate head coach from 2011 to 2018. He helped the Yeomen earn their most overall and conference wins since 1992 while directing recruiting efforts across more than a dozen states and assisting with fundraising and community relations.

McCrory began his career as a graduate assistant in the University of Missouri athletic department, where he worked in student-athlete development from 2008 to 2010. He helped design and implement career development, leadership, and wellness programming, while also teaching undergraduate courses and advising the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

As a player, McCrory was a four-year letterman at the University of Vermont. He started more than 40 games at both wing and post positions, competed in two NCAA tournaments, and was part of the Catamounts’ 2005 team that upset Syracuse in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

A 2008 graduate of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in communication, McCrory earned a master’s degree in public administration with certificates in nonprofit and public management from Missouri in 2010.
