Darshan Patel joined the Wabash College volleyball program as an assistant coach in August 2025.
Patel came to Wabash after coaching at Brownsburg High School in Indiana, where he helped develop players’ technical efficiency, fostered a positive and inclusive team culture, and implemented game strategies tailored to team strengths.
A 2023 graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in economics, Patel was active in leadership roles on campus. He served as president of the Human Powered Vehicle Team, guiding the squad to multiple podium finishes, and held positions in student government and Alpha Phi Omega national service fraternity.
Patel’s volleyball background also includes organizing and leading a competitive weekly volleyball program for young adults through BAPS in Greenwood, Indiana. He is working toward his Gold Medal Squared (GMS+) coaching certification.
