Runyon joined the Wabash College athletic training staff in July 2024. She is a 2024 graduate of Franklin College. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in Exercise Science at Indiana University. While there, Runyon worked as a student manager for the IU football team.

Runyon worked with Marian University as an athletic training student after serving as the Whiteland High School student trainer in 2023. She worked with the Indy Fuel Hockey Team, Indy Performance Rehab, Franklin College, and Franklin Community High School from 2022 to 2023.Â

Runyon is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and Indiana Athletic Training Association. She is BOC certified and holds an Indiana Athletic Trainer license. She is also certified in CPR/AED and First Aid through the American Heart Association. Runyon was a featured presenter for her master's research on Mental Health Characteristics and Disordered Eating Behavior in Collegiate Wrestlers at the 75th NATA Conference in New Orleans in 2024.
