Samantha Current returns to Wabash College to serve as Associate Director of Athletics for Internal Operations and Compliance and Senior Woman Administrator.
Current returned to the Little Giants' athletics program after working at Purdue University as an academic advisor in the College of Engineering. Prior to her time at Purdue she worked at Saab in Lafayette as a senior administrative support specialist.
Current started as the compliance and business operations coordinator for the Wabash athletics department in August 2019. Current came to Wabash from Goshen College where she worked as the coordinator of compliance, student services, and kinesiology. She spent two years as a compliance assistant and assistant coach for the track & field/cross country programs at Houghton College prior to accepting the position at Goshen.
Current earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Houghton College in 2017, graduating magna cum laude, and a Master in Sports Management from Liberty University in 2018. She participated as a member of the Houghton track and field team for two seasons and as part of the cross country team during the 2016-17 season.
Current and her husband Adam Current (Wabash '11) reside in Lafayette.
