Wabash divers
Jake Schild and
Jacob Anderson combined for 26 points on Wednesday night, but the Little Giants fell short in a dual meet at DePauw in a 205-89 contest. Freshman
Aaron Troyer joined Schild as the only individual winner for Wabash.
Schild won both the one- and three-meter diving competitions, while Anderson took second in both events. Schild's score of 183.5 points on the one-meter board barely edged Anderson's total of 182.95 points. Schild dominated the three-meter event with a winning total of 208.40 points. Anderson scored 162.15 points to finish second.

Troyer was the winner of the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:59.40. The first-year swimmer was also second in the 100 backstroke, finishing in 54.55.
David Phillips took second place in the 1000 freestyle (10:15.10), while teammate
Andy Chorpenning was third (10:26.03). Freshman
Carter Adams added a pair of second-place finishes in both the 200 butterfly (1:59.48) and 100 butterfly (53.83).
Steve Batchelder took third place in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:16.12.
Charles Williams was also third in the 200-yard individual medley (2:02.96).
The Little Giants are 1-2 in dual meets this season. Wabash will take the next eight days off from competition before serving as hosts for the annual Patrick Woehnker Invitational, beginning next Friday evening at 7 p.m. in the Class of 1950 Natatorium.
