JT Miller won his second consecutive start, working 7-1/3 innings of shutout baseball in a Wabash 3-0 victory at Schreiner University Monday afternoon. The Little Giants scored two unearned runs before an RBI single by Ross Hendrickson scored the final run of the contest.

Miller scattered five hits and struck out six of the 28 batters he faced. He surrendered only two walks. Luke Holm came on to work the final 1-2/3 innings, allowing only one base runner on a walk. He struck out one batter.

Wabash scored two runs in the sixth inning. A two-out walk to Clint Scarborough and a single by Trey Fankhauser put runners at first and second. A wild pitch moved both runners up 90 feet before back-to-back errors allowed both to score for a 2-0 Wabash lead.

Fankauser scored the final run of the game when he was hit by a pitch and stole second in the eighth inning, then raced home on Hendrickson's single.

Montana Timmons and Chris Deig finished with two hits apiece out of the seven total for the Little Giants. Robby Hechinger joined Hendrickson and Fankauser with the other hits in the game.

Wabash evened its season mark at 4-4 with the victory. The Little Giants will continue their Texas road trip with a spring break contest at Texas Lutheran University on Tuesday afternoon.
