Tyler Hampton. With two away in the inning,

Chris Deig, who reached bas thanks to a error to lead off the inning.
Eric Foust pitched the seventh inning in relief of Widup, surrendering one run on two hits.
Luke Zinsmaster came on in the eighth inning, retiring three of the four batters he faced before the Bulldogs rallied in the ninth. Texas Lutheran (7-5) induced back-to-back one-out walks to put the tying run at first. A double by Matt Peterson scored one run, but Dieg gunned down the second runner at third. A hit batsman put the winning run at first base, but Zinsmaster forced Evan Curtis to pop up to Hendrickson at short to end the contest.
Foust gave up one earned run and had one walk. Zinsmaster also allowed an earned run while walking two, hitting a batter, and striking out one.
Wabash managed just seven hits, including two by Timmons to pace the offensive effort. Deig,
Tanner Watson, Holm, Hampton, and Hendrickson added the others.
The Little Giants (5-4) return to action on Wednesday with a 2 p.m. (CST) game at Mary Hardin-Baylor.
