Wabash Ends Spring Trip with 12-7 Win at Centre

Tyler Owensby's four-hit, four-RBI effort led Wabash to a 12-7 win at Centre College Thursday night.
Box Score An offensive explosion capped by a four-RBI effort by Tyler Owensby combined with a dominating effort by starting pitcher Ross Hendrickson gave Wabash a 12-7 victory at Centre College Thursday night.

Wabash blew the 4-2 game open in the sixth with a six-run inning. Tanner Watson and Tyler Hampton drilled back-to-back two-run singles. Watson drove home Justin Green and Lucas Stipler, while Watson and Trey Fankhauser raced home on Hampton's hit.
Owensby delivered the big blow in the inning, tripling off the left field wall for his second RBI of the game when Hampton scored from second. After a walk to David Oliger, KJ Zelenika lifted a sacrifice fly to right to score Owensby with the sixth run of the inning.

Hendrickson gave the Little Giants six solid innings in his second start and first win since returning from "Tommy John" surgery. The senior pitched five innings, holding Centre to a pair of hits and two runs with three strikeouts without allowing a walk. Hendrickson retired the last 10 batters he faced.
