He easily scored when Scarborough followed with a triple. Four batters later, Fankhauser drilled a triple of his own to plate two more and Owensby eventually picked up a RBI double as the Little Giants batted around.
Fankhauser has reached base safely in 13 consecutive games and Oliger moved his hit streak to 10 games.
The Little Giants (7-7, 2-0 NCAC West) will remain in Springfield, OH for another double header Monday to finish the teams' four-game series. Weather cancelled two games scheduled for Saturday, which pushed the schedule back. Monday's first pitch is scheduled for noon.
