Wabash trailed early and could not cut into the Ohio Wesleyan lead, eventually falling 3-0 to the Battling Bishops in a Homecoming soccer battle Saturday afternoon.

The Battling Bishops (8-2-2, 1-0-1 NCAC) notched the first of three goals in the eighth minute on an attempt by Frian Schaefer for his 7th goal of the year. Schaefer added his second goal of the match in the 38th minute, then collected the hat trick with a third goal in the 53rd minute. OWU produced six shots on goals in the match.
Dayton Jennings made two saves.
Nikola Kajmakoski led the Wabash attack with four shot attempts overall.
Alexiz Arellano fired three shots in the match.
The Little Giants are off for a week before traveling to Oberlin Saturday for a 2 p.m. contest.
