Wabash won game three of its weekend series against William Peace University with a 7-0 shutout Sunday over the Pacers.

The Little Giants lost both games of Saturday's doubleheader in North Carolina. The Little Giants lost the opener 4-3 in nine innings before being blanked 8-0 in the nightcap.

Michael Herrmann (1-0) went the distance, holding William Peace (5-7) to six hits and two walks while striking out five to earn his first win of the season. He did not allow any extra base hits.

Wabash pounded out 10 hits to earn its first win of the season.
Cole Harlacher provided three of those hits along with a pair of RBI. He doubled in the second inning and scored the first run of the game off a sacrifice fly by
Tyler Downing.

The Little Giants tacked on three more runs in the third off singles by Harlacher and Downing. Harlacher drove
David Oliger home with the final run in the fourth. Herrmann continued to dominate on the mound, holding WPU to four hits over the final six innings.

Wabash was unable to hold an extra-innings lead in the first game of the series against the Pacers. The Little Giants took a lead in the ninth with a single off the bat of

Taylor Canter with the go-ahead run. A one-out single by WPU in the final frame opened the door for Easton Payton, who drilled a triple to left to tie the game. Payton came home when the next batter, Mikey Anerton, singled down the right field line to end the game in dramatic fashion.

Ryan Thomas took the loss (0-1), working a third of an inning.
Jensen Kirch earned no decision after pitching eight innings with eight hits and none walks. He struck out eight batters and surrendered two earned runs.
Sean Roginski laced three hits in the game to pace Wabash offensively.

The Pacers jumped out to 5-0 lead in the first two innings of Saturday's second contest and never looked back.
