Wabash kept its Saturday afternoon men's lacrosse contest at Oberlin College close early before the host Yeomen held the Little Giants scoreless in the third period en route to a 20-6 victory.

Wabash trailed 2-1 to Oberlin (4-9, 1-5 NCAC) after one period on the strength of
Austin Crosley's eighth goal of the season.
Spencer Sikes,
Collin Brennan, and
Steven Stark each scored in the second period for the Little Giants, but Oberlin doubled that output with six goals to take a 8-4 lead at halftime.
Oberlin added six goals in the third and fourth periods, respectively. Stark and Brennan scored one more goal apiece for Wabash in the fourth period to provide the final tallies in the contest. Brennan maintained his team lead with his 37
th goal of the season, remaining one ahead of Stark with 36. Stark finished the day with two goals and one assist for three points for a team-best 19 assists and 55 points.

Gage Brock made his second start of the year at goalkeeper, finishing the day with 12 saves.

Wabash (5-8, 1-5 NCAC) will complete its second season of varsity play next week, beginning with a road game at Wittenberg Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Little Giants close out the year with a home game Saturday versus Denison at 2 p.m.
