Wabash posted the top time in all 10 events of a Saturday afternoon dual meet at Anderson University, winning 112-45.
The Little Giants, ranked 13th the latest collegeswimming.com dual team rankings, opened the meet with a win by the foursome of
Dakota Rhodes,
Sam Colaiacova,
David Johnson, and David Duenes in the 400-yard medley relay against the second-year program from Anderson. The quartet finished with a time of 3:49.00.
Ben Manahan won the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:04.66, then scored another first-place finish in th 100 free by finishing in 50.69. He turned in the quickest time in the 200 breaststroke, touching the wall in 2:20.43.
Nick Young scored a top finish in the 200 free with a winning time of 1:52.73. Young added another victory in the 500 free by finishing in 5:07.26. Jake Riley completed the 50 freestyle in 23.10 to win that event.
Kevin Sheridan's time of 2:10.94 was the quickest in the 200 butterfly. Rhodes added a win in the 200 backstroke, finishing in 2:06.28.
Riley and Johnson joined
Anthony Mendez and Duenes to finish the day by posting the best finish in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:33.02.
Wabash will travel to Greencastle, Indiana on Friday, November 3 for a dual meet against DePauw University beginning at 6 p.m.
