Connor Rotterman's three-pointer with 8:27 broke a 49-49 tie between Wabash and Franklin to lead the host Little Giants to a 74-66 win over their in-state rival.

Wabash (5-6) outscored the visiting Grizzlies 47-36 in the second half to earn the victory.

Rotterman found a gap in the Franklin (2-9) defense to hit the wide-open trey, giving Wabash the 52-49 lead. The game featured ten ties and seven lead changes before Rotterman's basket provided the Little Giants with the lead they would not relinquish.

Franklin closed to one point on a layup by Danny Goggans, but Rotterman answered with another three followed by a pair of free throws from
Harrison Hallstrom to put the Little Giants up 57-52. Wabash pushed its lead to 12 points with 4:32 remaining when Rotterman drained another three-pointer for a 67-55 edge.

Jack Davidson helped Wabash maintain its margin, scoring eight of his game-high 26 points over the final five minutes. Franklin drew no closer than nine points during that stretch, giving the Little Giants their second victory in less than 24 hours after posting a 62-58 win over the University of Chicago.

Franklin owned the paint on the offensive end of the court in the first half. The Grizzlies scored 22 points in the paint in the opening period to claim a 30-27 halftime lead. Wabash put the Franklin interior players in foul trouble in the second half, limiting the Grizzlies to 12 points in the paint. Junior
Logan White dominated the glass for Wabash, grabbing 12 rebounds in the second half for the Little Giants, including 10 defensive boards. He finished the game with 14 rebounds to go with nine points. Wabash also turned nine Franklin turnovers into 10 points and converted 15 offensive rebounds into 11 points.

Rotterman scored 14 points to join Davidson in double-figure scoring for the Little Giants. Hallstrom added 14 points and nine rebounds. Goggans led Franklin with 15 points and 11 rebounds. John Beineke added 13 points and Sam Guttierrez scored 12 points.
