The Wabash bats struck early and never looked back Thursday night in its 22-4 victory over North Central University (MN) in 7 innings.

Nearly every Little Giant recorded a hit on the evening.
Taylor Canter led the way with 4 hits. Six total pitchers threw innings. Junior
Cody Cochran started the game and was awarded the win.

Cochran threw two innings of hitless baseball Thursday evening, and only allowed one walk and struck out one. Freshmen Zack Moffett,
Eric Murphy,
Parker Noll and
Nathan Biggs all threw one inning as well. The quartet of freshmen allowed a total of 4 runs on the evening. Sophomore
Kevin O'Donnell struck out the side in his one inning of work.

The Little Giant offense struck early. In the second inning, Wabash tagged North Central for five runs, followed by six, five, two, and four runs respectively in the following four innings. Wabash was only shut out the first and seventh innings. A lot of hitters saw time at the plate, including freshmen Henry Wannamuehler and sophomore
Joe House. Wannamuehler recorded two hits in two at bats and walked three times. He also scored three times and drove in four runs. House tallied three hits in four at bats, scored three times and had one RBI.

The Little Giants improve to 4-1 on the spring Break trip, and head in to the final day of play on Friday. Wabash will take on Lewis and Clark University on Friday, March 10 in a doubleheader. Seniors
Jensen Kirch and Michael Hermann are the probable starters for Wabash. The first pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. MST.
