Wabash kept its high-scoring offense rolling in its home opener Saturday, producing 16 hits in a 10-2 victory over Hanover.

The Little Giants came into the game averaging 11 runs a game and jumped out to another quick lead. Wabash scored a pair of runs in the second inning off singles by
Andrew Roginski and younger brother,
Sean Roginski. The visiting Panthers (8-2) answered with a run in the third, but the Little Giants tallied four runs in the bottom half of the inning then added two more in the both the fourth and sixth innings.

Sean Roginski added a two-run single and two-run double to his efforts for the day for a five RBI afternoon.
Andrew Roginski finished 3-for-5 at the plate with an RBI.
Bryce Aldridge and
Eric Chavez collected two hits apiece.

Senior starter
Jensen Kirch kept the Hanover bats in check most of the afternoon. He pitched seven innings, scattering seven hits to hold the Panthers to two runs (one earned). He walked one while striking out four batters.
Kevin O'Donnell closed out the contest for Wabash, allowing just one hit in two innings. He struck out two.

The two teams complete their weekend series with a Sunday doubleheader at Goodrich Ballpark beginning at noon.
