Jared Wolfe smashed a two-run, walk off double in the bottom of the ninth inning to give Wabash a 9-8 win over Aurora in the first game of a home doubleheader Friday afternoon. The Little Giants used a six-run fifth inning to earn an 8-4 win to secure a sweep.

Wabash trailed the visiting Spartans (10-5) 7-3 heading into the bottom of the eighth inning before striking for four runs to tie the game at 7-7.
Sean Roginski started the scoring with a bases-loaded walk prior to his brother,
Andrew Roginski, driving home two more runs with a double to right-center field.
Sean Roginski raced home with the tying run on the next at bat when
Bryce Aldridge lifted a sacrifice fly to left.

Aurora took a lead in the top of the ninth with an RBI single off
Erich Lange, who was making his career debut on the mound as a reliever for the Little Giants. He gave up the lone earned run on one hit with one walk and struck out the side.

The Wabash offense provided the punch to give Lange his first career victory in the bottom half of the frame. Lange helped his cause by opening the inning with a double.
Tyler Downing drew a walk before the Spartans retired the next two batters before Wolfe stepped to the plate. The sophomore drilled a pitch over the outfielder's heads to the right-center field gap to bring home the tying and winning runs.

Andrew Roginski finished 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBI.
Sean Roginski drove home three runs.

Jensen Kirch started for Wabash, throwing seven innings and giving up seven runs on nine hits with two walks and two strikeouts.
Ryan Thomas pitched an inning and limited Aurora to one hit.

Bryan Roberts needed. He earned his second win of the season while holding Aurora to four runs on five hits in 5-1/3 innings pitch with two walks and four strikeouts.
Luke Dant threw 2-1/3 innings of relief, holding the Spartans to two hits and a walk with two strikeouts. Thomas retired the only batter he faced before giving way to
Cameron Glaze who pitched the ninth inning without allowing a runner to reach base.
