Wabash earned its 20th victory of the season Sunday with a convincing 14-2 win over Berea College for a three-game series sweep.

The Little Giants (20-13) reached the 20-win mark for the first time since finishing 22-22 in 2011. Wabash won the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament that season and competed for the first time in the NCAA Tournament. The Little Giants posted a win in the tourney against the number one ranked team in the nation at the time before being eliminated in the regional semifinals.

Wabash wasted little time in taking a lead Sunday over the Mountaineers (13-23).
Jared Wolfe opened the bottom of the first with a double to right-center field and scored two batters later on a sacrifice fly by
Sean Roginski. Wolfe added an RBI in the second, scoring
Henry Wannemuehler with a single to center to provide a 2-0 lead.

Berea tied the game in the third with a pair of unearned runs off an error by the Little Giants. Wabash responded by sending 13 batters to the plate in the bottom of the third, scoring eight runs on five hits and taking advantage of three Berea errors to take a 10-2 lead. The Little Giants tacked on four more runs on three hits in the fourth inning. The game was halted midway through the seventh inning due to the 10-run rule.

Wolfe and
Nick Chao each drove in two runs for Wabash in the victory. Wolfe collected three hits while Chao,
Andrew Roginski, and
Eric Chavez each recorded two hits in the game.

Michael Herrmann pitched four innings in the start, holding the Mountaineers to four hits and two unearned runs with two walks to earn the victory.
Ryan Thomas pitched one scoreless inning of relief while allowing only one hit.
Erich Lange and
Cameron Glaze each pitched a scoreless inning out of the bullpen to close out the game.

Wabash returns to action Saturday to start the final four-game NCAC series versus DePauw University at Goodrich Ballpark at noon. The regular season is scheduled to conclude Sunday with the final two games of the series beginning at noon.
