Wabash opened the North Coast Athletic Conference portion of its 2018 season Sunday at Kenyon College.
Tucker Dixon and
Steven Stark both scored in the 25-2 loss for the Little Giants.
Stark scored the first goal of the game for Wabash (1-4, 0-1 NCAC) three minutes into the second half. Dixon added a goal in the opening minutes of the fourth period. Kenyon took a 15-0 lead into the locker room at halftime, scoring seven times in the first 15 minutes of the game.
Kenyon (4-2, 1-0 NCAC) fired 64 shots with 37 attempts on goal.
Max Atkins made seven saves as the starting goalkeeper for the Little Giants.
Blake Markett finished with five saves in goal in the second half.
Chase Cochran collected a team-high six ground balls. Cochran,
Aaron Elsing, and
Ben Geier each caused two turnovers.
Wabash continues conference play on Saturday with a 1 p.m. home contest against the College of Wooster.
