Wabash scored five goals through the first three periods of Saturday's North Coast Athletic Conference lacrosse game against the College of Wooster Fighting Scots. But six-goal periods in the second and third provided enough distance for the Scots to hand the Little Giants a 15-5 loss.

Wabash (1-5, 0-2 NCAC) answered two goals by Wooster (5-2, 1-0 NCAC) with an unassisted goal by
Tucker Dixon for a 2-1 first-period deficit.
Collin Brennan tied the game at 2-2 one minute into the second period with his 12
th goal of the year. The Scots followed with three more goals before
Austin Crosley broke the string with his second goal of the year off a pass from Brennan to make it a 5-3 contest. The Scots responded with three more goals prior to end of the second period to take an 8-2 lead at the break.

The Scots started the third period with three goals in the first five minutes as part of a six-goal effort over the span of 15 minutes. Wabash countered with Brennan's second goal of the game midway through the period and a goal from
Steven Stark in the final 30 seconds of the third to a 14-5 deficit. Wooster added one final goal in the fourth period to provide the final ten-goal differential.

Brennan led the Little Giants with three points with two goals and an assist.
AJ Shaheen and Crosley each added assists.
Ben Geier picked up seven ground balls for Wabash and finished with two caused turnovers.

Wooster outshot the Little Giants 60-20 and put 32 shots on goal compared to 11 for the host Little Giants.
Max Atkins made a season-high 17 saves at goalkeeper for Wabash.

The Little Giants travel across the state to play Earlham College Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.
