Wabash scored the first goal of Tuesday night's lacrosse game at Earlham College in the first minute of the contest and never looked back in a 24-0 victory for the Little Giants.
Tucker Dixon led Wabash with seven goals in the contest for Wabash (2-5). .
Steven Stark,
Collin Brennan, and
Austin Crosley each scored four times.
AJ Shaheen added three goals, and
Dajon Thomas tallied two goals.
Dixon added three assists for a total of 10 points to tie Brennan's single-game record for total points set earlier this season versus Wilmington College. Brennan and Stark each handed out three assists apiece to score seven total points.
Thomas led the team in caused turnover with two.
Zach LaRue gathered six ground balls to pace Wabash in the game in that category. Larue dominated the faceoff dot, winning 12 of 16 attempts in the game.
Riley Timberman finished 6-of-10 in faceoffs for the Little Giants.
Wabash limited Earlham (0-6) to four total shots and two shots on goal overall. The Quakers did not mount a shot attempt until the third period. The Little Giants put 36 of their 51 shot attempts on goal.
Max Atkins did not face a shot in the first half in goal for Wabash.
Blake Markett made both saves at goalkeeper in the second half of the game.
Wabash returns home Saturday to play Hope College at 1 p.m. at Fischer Field.
