The Wabash lacrosse team played Ohio Wesleyan University, the 12
th-ranked men's Division III team in the nation, at home Wednesday. The Little Giants lost 20-6 despite missing two of its top scorers in the lineup.

The Little Giants (2-10, 0-5 NCAC) played without
Collin Brennan (22 goals, 13 assists) and
Steven Stark (17 goals, 12 assists), the number two and three scorers for the team this season. Wabash came out on the attack, scoring the first goal of the game one minute in on a shot from
Dajon Thomas to give the Little Giants the 1-0 lead.

Ohio Wesleyan (11-2, 5-0 NCAC) responded with eight goals throughout the remainder of the period with five coming from Max Tennant, who finished with six for the game. The Battling Bishops added five more goals in the second period, answered by a goal from
Jake Taylor off a pass from
AJ Shaheen for a 13-2 deficit at halftime.

The Little Giants limited OWU to seven goal over the final two periods.
Tucker Dixon, the Little Giants' leading scorer on the season, scored his first of two goals in the game in the third period with
Chase Cochran picking up the assist on the goal. Wabash added three goals in the final period on shots from Dixon, Shaheen, and Thomas. Ohio Wesleyan scored the final two goals of the game to claim the 14-point victory.

Max Atkins made 18 saves while facing 50 total shots and 38 shots on goal from the Battling Bishops. Wabash finished the game with 18 total shots with nine on goal. Thomas and Cochran each caused four turnovers to pace the Wabash defensive effort. Cochran collected seven ground balls for the Little Giants.
