Wabash outshot Denison in Wednesday evening's North Coast Athletic Conference soccer match, but two minutes provided the only opportunities the visiting Big Red needed in a 2-0 loss for the Little Giants.

Wabash (8-4-1, 3-1 NCAC) took 11 first-half shots with six on goal compared to four total shots for Denison (5-6-1, 2-2 NCAC) and one shot on goal in the opening period for a 0-0 halftime draw.

The Big Red scored the eventual game-winning goal on a shot from Tucker Nuzum-Clark three minutes into the second half to put Denison in front 1-0. The Big Red added a second goal less than a minute later when Ethan Miracle slipped past the Wabash defense to score for the third time this season.

Wabash continued to push the ball toward the offensive end, finishing the game with 34 percent of possession in the final quarter of the field. However, the Little Giants could only manage to put two shots up in the final half with only one shot on goal.
Austin Hughes led Wabash with three shots on goal for the match.
