Wabash overcame an early deficit to defeat Wittenberg Tuesday afternoon 3-1 in North Coast Athletic Conference soccer action.

The Little Giants (9-4-2, 4-1-1 NCAC) fell behind 1-0 after Wittenberg (4-12, 1-5 NCAC) scored in the tenth minute of the match. The Tigers' Lukas Lindberg settled a ball near the top of the box and fired home the early goal for the 1-0 lead.

Wabash took control of the match from that point forward. The Little Giants owned 55 percent of possession overall with 66 percent of that total spent in the offensive end of the field. The pressure paid off in the 19
th minute when
Kyle Holmer delivered a corner kick restart into the box.
Michael Tanchevski found the ball and sent a shot into the back of the net to even the score at 1-1. Three minutes later
Coledon Johnson scored his first collegiate goal to put the Little Giants in front 2-1.

Wabash held that lead until the 87
th minute when Wittenberg fouled the Little Giants inside the box to set up a penalty kick.
Justin Kopp delivered the try for his fourth goal of the season to produce the final 3-1 victory.

Wabash outshot the visiting Tigers 20-4 and held an 11-4 advantage in shots on goal for the match. Tanchevski led the way with three shots on goal.
Adam Berg put two tries on frame for the Little Giants.
