Freshman soccer forward Coledon Johnson has been named the Hoosier Heartland State Bank Wabash Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

Johnson scored two game-winning goals for the Little Giants last week against Wittenberg and Ohio Wesleyan to keep Wabash in the hunt for a berth in the upcoming North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament. He scored his first collegiate goal on Tuesday in a 3-1 victory over Wittenberg. Johnson's second goal came in a 1-0 win Saturday against nationally-ranked Ohio Wesleyan. The victory was the first for Wabash over Ohio Wesleyan in school history and moved the Little Giants into a tie for second place in the league standings with OWU. Johnson was also named the NCAC Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week. He is undecided as to an academic major at this time.
