The Wabash lacrosse team earned a 14-13 victory over Adrian College Saturday afternoon to even its season record to 1-1.

The Little Giants held the Bulldogs to 13 goals despite a total of 53 shots in the game by the visitors. Wabash scored 14 goals on 37 total shot attempts with 22 shots on goal.

Tucker Dixon led the Little Giants with four goals in the contest. He put Wabash on the scoreboard first with an unassisted goal three minutes into the game. He added two more goals in the second period. Dixon added a final goal in the fourth period to help lift Wabash to the win.

AJ Shaheen recorded a hat trick with three goals in the game. He scored what proved to be the game-winning goal with 10:08 left to play in the contest to put Wabash in front 14-11. The Bulldogs closed to within a goal after scoring twice in the next two minutes before Wabash shut down the scoring attack to record the victory.

Collin Brennan,
Steven Stark, and
Chase Cochran each scored two goals for Wabash. Joe Plencner added a single goal in the victory to go with three assists. Dixon recorded two assists, while Brennan, Shaheen, and Stark each finished with one apiece.
