Wabash faced top-seeded and 11th-ranked Kenyon College Friday in the opening round of the 2019 North Coast Athletic Conference Tennis Tournament, held at North Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. The eighth-seeded Little Giants lost by a score of 5-0.

Wabash (8-14) seniors
Patrick McAuley and
Jordan Greenwell faced Anatol Doroskevic and Pascal Lee, ranked 15th in the Central Region in most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III poll. McAuley and Greenwell lost 8-4 in the number one double match to the Kenyon duo.
Lukas Senn and
Nieshaal Thambipillay lost 8-3 at number two doubles to Henry Barrett and Nicholas Paulucci.
Duncan Roy and
Evan Frank lost their number three doubles match 8-2 to Jacob Zalenski and Henry Wessel.

Senn lost 6-0, 6-0 at number five singles to Jack Wagner. Frank was defeated 6-1, 6-0 at number six singles by Barrett to close out the match.

Wabash will play Wittenberg University in the seventh-place match on Saturday. The match is currently scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at North Central High School. The start time and location could change based upon weather conditions.
