Wabash senior
Tucker Dixon scored seven goals for Wabash Wednesday night to tie the school record for goals in a single game while becoming the third player in Little Giants lacrosse history to reach the 100-goal mark in a career. Wabash defeated Earlham 19-3 to tie the school record for most victories in a season.

Dixon joined teammates
Collin Brennan and
Steven Stark as the only Wabash (5-5) players to score 100 or more goals in their careers. Brennan added two goals to his all-time total, giving him 118 over the course of four seasons. Stark scored three times in the win for the Little Giants to increase his career goals total to 110.
The five total victories by the Little Giants matches the five-win total by the 2017 and 2016 teams.

Wabash raced out to a 10-0 lead against Earlham (2-8) in the first period. Dixon scored the first goal of the game just over a minute into the contest, with Brennan following with a goal at 12:49 in the first period.
Joseph Plencner scored to make it a 3-0 contest ahead of two more goals by Dixon. Plencner, the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week, scored a total of three goals in the contest.
AJ Shaheen added three goals for the Little Giants, while
Drayden Hansen picked up a goal, as well. Brennan handed out four assists to lead the team in that category. Plencner finished with three assists, Hansen added a pair of helpers, and
Chase Cochran picked up one assist.

The Little Giants grabbed a single-game record 79 ground balls against the visiting Quakers along with a single-game record 28 caused turnovers.
Evan Schiefelbein finished with a total of seven caused turnovers to lead Wabash while
John Rodgers and Plencner each scooped up 12 ground balls to pace the Little Giants in that category. Rodgers won 13-of-19 face offs, while
Zach LaRue finished 2-of-3 in face offs at the dot.
Tanner Simmons won two of his four face offs in the game as Wabash finished 17-of-26 overall in the game.

Max Atkins made six saves in the game for Wabash. The Little Giants outshot Earlham 81-12, also tying the school record for shot attempts in a single game. Wabash put 52 shots on goal in the contest as the Quakers' Blake Francis made 33 saves overall.

Wabash returns to the NCAC portion of its schedule on Saturday with a 1 p.m. contest at 13
th-ranked Denison University.
