The Wabash lacrosse team traveled to Granville, Ohio Saturday to face 14
th-ranked Denison University, dropping a 27-3 contest for the Little Giants first North Coast Athletic Conference loss of the season.

Wabash (5-6, 1-1 NCAC) trailed 9-0 to the nationally-ranked Big Red (8-2, 3-0 NCAC) before
Steven Stark notched the first goal for the Little Giants. Collen Brennan added a second goal in the third period before
Drayden Hansen scored the final goal of the game for Wabash off an assist by
Joseph Plencner.

Denison outshot Wabash 58-21 and put 38 shots on goal. Brennan finished with five shots on goal to lead Wabash with Little Giants putting a total of 13 shots on goal. Wabash collected 17 ground balls led by goalkeeper
Max Atkins with four. Atkins recorded 11 saves overall.

The Little Giants made seven caused turnovers with two each for
Zach LaRue,
John Frey, and Atkins.
Evan Schiefelbein finished with one caused turnover. The Little Giants were successful on 12-of-17 clearing attempts in the game.
