Wabash outshot and owned possession time against Rose-Hulman in the Little Giants' home match Wednesday evening but could not get a goal in a 2-0 loss to the visiting Fightin' Engineers at Fischer Field.

The Little Giants owned a narrow 8-7 advantage in total shots and held a 63-37 edge in total possession. Rose-Hulman (4-0) made the most of its shot attempts, putting four tries on goal over the course of the contest.

Travis Bednarek scored the game-winner for the Fightin' Engineers, ranked seventh in the Great Lakes region in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll. Bednarek's deciding goal came in the 11
th minute of the match off a pass from Tyler Foster. Wyatt McKibbon drilled a header into the goal on a free kick by Eric Kirby in the 69
th minute to provide a two-goal cushion for Rose-Hulman.

Wabash (3-2) finished the game with two shots on goal with both coming from
Michael Zubeck. The junior led the team with three total shot attempts.
Chad Wunderlich made two saves in goal for the Little Giants.
