Wabash College sophomore quarterback Liam Thompson has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Football Player of the Week for his efforts in the Little Giants' 49-20 victory Saturday over Oberlin.
 
Thompson threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 41 yards and another TD in the Little Giants' home win Saturday versus Oberlin. Thompson was an efficient 16-of-20 passing with no interceptions for a 220.1 passer rating. Thompson leads the NCAC and ranks 17th among Division III players in passing efficiency with a season mark of 175.6. He also ranks 19rh in the nation in passing touchdowns with 15.
 
Thompson earned the conference's Newcomer of the Year Award in 2019 and was a Second Team All-NCAC selection that season.
