The Little Giant soccer team played even with 22nd-ranked Kenyon College in the North Coast Athletic Conference match played at Wabash Saturday afternoon. Wabash scored the first goal of the contest but lost in double overtime by a score of 2-1.

Coledon Johnson gave Wabash (9-4-1, 2-2-1) the 1-0 lead on his team-leading 11th goal of the season, scoring in the 38th minute to provide a 1-0 halftime lead for the Little Giants. Kenyon (10-1-1, 5-0-0 NCAC) evened the score at 1-1 on a goal from Johan Johannsson in the 58th minute.

The two teams played scoreless soccer through the remainder of regulation and the first ten-minute overtime. Sebastian Gaese, who provided the assist on the visiting Lords' goal, scored the game-winner in the second minute of the second overtime period off a corner kick by Gerardo Martinez.

Wabash was held to three shots for the match and only one shot on goal on the score by Johnson. Kenyon finished with five shots on goal. Little Giant goalkeeper

The Little Giants jump back into action on Tuesday when Wabash travels to Springfield, Ohio for a 7 p.m. match at Wittenberg University.
