The Wabash College volleyball team took on Fontbonne University in Midwest College Volleyball League action Sunday afternoon at Chadwick Court. The Little Giants fell in a pair of matches to the league-leading Griffins by scores of 3-0.

Wabash (2-4, 2-4 MCVL), fresh off its first two wins in school history last weekend at Wittenberg, ran into one of the top Division III programs in region in Fontbonne (7-1, 6-0 MCVL). The Griffins won Sunday's first match by scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-13 before taking the second match 25-14, 25-12, 25-18.

The Little Giants recorded 11 kills in the opening match, led by
Evan Nichols and
Luke Wallace with three apiece.
Thang Sathing made a team-high six digs.
Luke Davis added to his team lead in assists with a 11 in the first matchup against Fontbonne.

Wabash played to 12 ties in the second match, including six along with two lead changes in the second set of the finale between the two teams. The Little Giants put away 21 kills in the second match with
Ricky Sessions posting a team-best eight to go with six from Nichols and five by
Carson Meadors. Sathing added another eight digs, with Davis chipping in 19 assists.

Wabash travels to Berea, Ohio next Sunday afternoon for a pair of league matches at Baldwin Wallace University.
